hey! no worries i’ve gotten this question a few times
1. i wanted more practice with gender neutral singular pronouns. they just aren’t common and i wasn’t very good at using them consistently at first so i wanted to challenge myself
2. it’s easier to sub in she/her or he/him pronouns into the xe/xir format since the sentence structure is the same. It’s just generally a little more convenient for writing prompts since most people use she or he pronouns while still keeping things gender neutral.
3. I just plain old like ‘em.
