Hey guys! As you know I’m going to create my very own superhero comic as a summer project! This comic is going to be done using acrylic paint in my limited palette style and is going to be hecka neat!

I’m going to set up a patreon to pay for the supplies (brushes and a scanner are going to be my most urgent purchases), and as we all know patreon has rewards tiers where you get things according to your donations!

Early photos of comic progress

Access to concept sketches and tests that I normally wouldn’t post

should i make a separate blog for this? I’ll still be doing some advertising posts if I do since i have quite a few followers on here and exposure is good, but i you’d prefer this to remain mostly a prompt blog I understand (tho i do tag everything as corvidcomics for easy blocking)

Armored Aurum has light and electricity based powers. His armor and weapons are all made out of a conductive material so touching him in any way is Really Bad

Throne has some limited telekinetic powers and can make herself and anything she touches intangible. 

Auum and Throne are really poorly matched since Throne can’t be hit, and it doesn’t matter if Aurum is hit

Doll Coyote, meanwhile, is very skilled at befriending coyotes

Just a lil hint for what i’m thinking for the comic project-

Throne and Armored Aurum (the villain and hero, respectively) deal primarily with enhanced humans. Armored Aurum is basically an add-on to the cops for dealing w. any enhanced threats. While Throne does deal with regular humans for business and the like, everyone she has a relationship with is enhanced. While their civilian identity may be another matter, their superhuman personas are generally see as Above The Average Person. Throne is terrifying. Aurum is awe-inspiring

Meanwhile, Doll Coyote is basically the public disaster. He’s who you go to when your cat is stuck in a tree, when your senile granny has wandered off, when you need someone to kill your abusive stalker ex partner, that sort of thing. He’s a gay who can’t drive so he’s regularly on the bus with 3-5 coyotes stuffed into his overcoat.

He’s not interested in structures of power per say, he’s just trying to lend a hand

anyway, i am Totally Up to do a full on acrylic superhero comic! Here’s my concept design for the Hero, Vigilante, and Villain characters- Armored Aurum the hero, Doll Coyote the vigilante, and Throne the villain 

if you think an urban fantasy superhero comic in the style of my limited palette paintings is up ur alley, I’m going to be releasing more info and ways to interact w. the project soon! If you’re really excited, i do already have a ko-fi open and I’ll be using the proceeds from that to buy enough supplies to start the project

I’ll be doing a post soon with ways to support the project and info on the characters and plot soon! but for now i offer u these words of wisdom
